Offer Testimonials
Internet marketers love to get them, and most will gladly post an active link or at least a URL to your site in return.
Testimonials are not only for products, you could send testimonial for their blog. The about page is the most seen page and they might even include their personal testimonials on that page or some bloggers have a testimonials page.
Remember people are curious and will probably click on your link.
You should always answer in testimonials, at least one question that the sales letter asked and that you found that worked great for you.
General testimonials about a marketer should include what you found and why his blog/website helped you.
Ways to prepare your testimonials before you Offer Testimonials
1. Pictures
Always include your picture with the testimonial. Pictures give your testimonial more credibility and you should always include a picture with your testimonial.
2. Online audio
You could always include your testimonial as an audio. Record it and send it for consideration. You can use a free program called Audacity
3. Postcard
Can you imagine if you sent your testimonial as a postcard? The marketer could scan the postcard and include in the sales letter/blog with links and your photo. The postcard will have a lot of credibility as it will be postmarked.
4. Profile
You could include your profile: age, location, favourite quote, hobies, your current occupation etc. This will make the testimonials more fun to read.
5. Contact information
Include a contact information as the marketer will be more inclined to post your testimonial if his prospects can contact you to ask questions about the product. People are more inclined to buy if another โrealโ person can vouch for the product.
6. Hand written letters
Like the postcards above, they are a rarity nowadays but again the envelope can be scanned to give credibility.
7. Telephone recordings
You could offer to give a testimonial over the phone where the marketer can record it and convert it as in 2 above.
8. Electronic signatures
Signatures of real people, again makes the testimonial more credible and more official.
9. Email messages
You could offer to send the testimonial via email. Again the marketer has the choice to publish the date and the source of the email.
10. Videos testimonials
These are as important as all the points above as the prospect can see you are a real person. Record it with your camcorder and just edit it with Windows movie maker.

Great post! I often give testimonials for services, but hadn’t really thought about any for products. I’m going to start thinking about products I like. Thanks for including your Top 10 ideas also – I’m thinking a handwritten letter will really stand out!
